I'm Having A Technical Tuesday!

Ah I'm at it again! I dont know why I do it to myself because all this computer wizzardry short fuses my brain half the time! However the perfectionist in me keeps the fight even, I will not give up until it's how I wanted, even if it means spending hours in front of the computer screen pulling my hair out! I wanted my blog to mirror my up and coming website image and with that I have delved into the world of templates, backgrounds, cropping of photos, editing text colours...................

I WILL WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hallo All,

Life once more has interupted my efforts in blogging! Every day has brought something new, take a look at what came along last Saturday.............

Our new puppy Wallace! Wally for everyday use!!! He's a darling, the house training is somewhat time consuming however grabbing the chance just now to update the blog and show you my excuse for being silent the past wk.

Still working on getting my website up and running, things are coming along nicely and I cant wait to show you my online store where you can purchase items from the Arts of Amy Homeware Collection.

Well bit of news for you all, I am in mid process of setting up a website were you can purchase and get a detailed view of what Arts of Amy is all about! I have literally been living and breathing all things computer the past wk. Loads learned but an up hill climb!
No creating this week, however have been doing a fair bit of photography for the web page. So here for Showcase Saturday I will show you a pic of a scene I set up. I dont think I will be using this one on the site however it's pretty all the same. On the site I have a vintage treasures section - my idea behind this photographic scene.

"Fabric Friday"

Welcome all to my first Fabric Friday!!
Lets kick this off with a view of the fabrics which are currently surrounding my work area.

All the fabrics shown will be used alongside my DollyDimples. These floral prints are perfect to create some dainty dresses for the wooden peg doll gang!

Ready To Revamp . . . .

Hallo All,

I have been v.busy the past few days, trying out lots of different techniques to give my blog that bit of spark!
It's been a learning curve, but a satisfying one at that!

Isn't it great when you have been struggling to figure something out for a while and then you stumble accross the right way of doing it!

This was me, for the past few wks I have been bamboozled with how to change the blog background and how to add headers, yesterday if you have noticed I succeeded - My blog now looks a bit more decorative! Let me know your thoughts?!

I have also come up with a plan to keep me more active on my blog - Keep your eyes peeled for my "Named Days Of The Week" e.g I will be naming all Friday's "Fabric Fridays" my posts on Fridays will be connected to ...... Yep you guessed it Fabric! One which I am most excited about is Moodboard Monday - You will have to stop by on Monday to see what I'm talking about! X

Whats On Your Work Desk Wednesday!!!

A very cheap find for £2.00!! My idea is to paint it for my daughter's room, to be used by her as a little tea party table!

I've found some gorgeous china cups to complete this little tea party, very vintage and oh so cute! Take a look below............

Positivity Brings Rewards!

Wow much excitement, have had the editor from Dolls House magazine get in touch. They would like to use my Dolly Dimples in a future feature about peg dolls! This has been a great pat on the back for me and I intend to keep ploughing forwards - Positivity can seriously work!

It Began With A Ladies Night........

What a fab night held at the local primary school.

Many Wonderful Stalls and plenty of Browsers n Buyers! 

I have re-jigged some of my products and prices and I feel this has had a positive effect all round, sales were made last night YIPPEA! 

Here's a big thumbs up to all the crafters who attended last night : ) 

A Heart That's Made of Wood..........

Showcasing soon......... beautiful, decorative, hand painted hanging hearts. Don't be fooled, yes these hearts may be wooden, however they have a lot of love to give!!! Production starting this week, photos will be on there way. X

Back to Business!!

Wow where does the time go?! How often do you ask yourself that, if like me then the question arises frequently every few passing hours of each day! 

I can officially say goodbye to my recent silence and promise you a hive of activity once more. 

You may ask why did I fall silent on you ..... Well with all the usual juggling of the Christmas run up there was Birthdays, Sister's Scottish Wedding and a Weeks stay in hospital with pneumonia! However my brain hasn't stopped, the typing fingers may have but I have kept the creative cogs turning! Many a new idea to share with you plus some sweet photos of fabric hearts to show.
